Congratulations on becoming a pilot at DAL Virtual!
You can log in to your pilot account with the email address and password you entered when completing your registration. You’ll find assistance in our
DAL Virtual Pilot Handbook to help you navigate getting started and off the ground. You’ll need to make sure FSUIPC 7(if you’re using MSFS20 or 24), FSUIPC (if you’re using FSX or Prepar3D) or XPUIPC (if you’re using X-Plane) are installed to connect your sim to our VABASE Live ACARS tracking system. The next thing you should do is to download the ACARS app you will need to track your flight. You’ll find the link inside the account area under your name, once you login, at the link that says “Downloads”. You’ll need to download and authorize the app to get it running. When installing, you may encounter a warning about the file, but there are no virus contained and it will not harm your computer (scan the file, if need be). A helpful reminder, remember to book your flight on our Flight Center
(https://www.dalvirtual.com/flightcenter) each time before you start the app for each flight.
NOTE: Also, Please bear in mind that all pilots are required to do a minimum of 2 flights per month, as a condition of remaining on our active roster. We trust, however, that you will do your part to make this a mutually satisfactory association.
Take the next step to join our community by becoming a member of our Discord, a free voice, video, and text chat app that allows us to communicate with each other in real-time. It’s a great place to check-in, and hang out for information, help, and conversation when you’re flying or not. Here’s the invite link to join our group: https://discord.gg/xfnvZBg
Once you’ve done those two things, you’re on the runway to becoming a full-fledged DAL Virtual pilot. We’re glad to have you as a part of our community and look forward to the fun and sharing our love of virtual flight with pilots from around the world. Please feel free to share any ideas you might have for us on things we can do to make our airline/community even better.
Thank you again and welcome aboard!
